  • Hyperbaric oxygen therapy should be suspended if patients have fever, cold, abdominal pain or women’s menstruation.
  • In the course of treatment, some patients will have the symptoms of double ear distension and tinnitus, they should do swallowing action and speech to balance the pressure inside and outside of the tympanic membrane, and they can also pinch the nose and drum on their own, so that the Eustachian tube can ventilate on its own.
  • During the decompression at the end of treatment you will feel there is gas running out from the ear. This is a normal phenomenon. Do not hold your breath, just relax and do normal breathing.
  • In order to keep the chamber clean, spiting and littering are forbidden.
